Seminar in London: Arabian Studies

The MEP is pleased to invite you to the "Seminar for Arabian Stydies" organized by the BFSA, British Foundation for the Study of the Arabia, in collaboration with the British museum. This event will take place from August 3 2018 9:00am until August 5 2018 5:00pm, in London, at the British museum.

This is the only annual forum for the presentation of the latest academic research on the Arabian Peninsula, including archaeology, history, epigraphy, languages, literature, art, culture, ethnography, geography, etc. from the earliest times to the present day or, in the case of political and social history, to the end of the Ottoman Empire (1922).

The event will take place at the British museum, Great Russell St, Bloomsbury, London WC1B 3DG, United Kingdom, from August 3 2018 9:00am until August 5 2018 5:00pm. The museum is accessible by bus 1, 8, 19, 25, 38, 55, 98, 242 (New Oxford Street Station) and underground line Central Northern (Tottenham Court Road Station) or line Central Piccadilly (Holborn Station).

The number of places is limited and registration can be done on the Internet (https://www.thebfsa.org/seminar/papers-and-posters/ see the registration section) or directly at the British Museum from 9:00am on the Friday 3rd of August.

Conference Fees- ADVANCE PAYMENT: full registration (100£ for full conference ,3 days, or 40£ for one day), friends of the BM (75£ for full conference, 3 days, or 30£ for one day), BFSA members (75£ for full conference, 3 days, or 30£ for one day) and Students (50£ for full conference, 3 days, or 20£ one day).

Conference Fees- PAYMENT ON ARRIVAL: full registration (110£ for full conference ,3 days, or 45£ for one day), friends of the BM (85£ for full conference, 3 days, or 35£ for one day), BFSA members (85£ for full conference, 3 days, or 35£ for one day) and Students (60£ for full conference, 3 days, or 25£ one day).
